Whether you’re just stopping by, worshiping with us online, or in search of a new church home, we’re glad you’re here! Central has been in ministry since 1840, connecting all people to God and to one another through scripture, sacrament, song, and service. We are known for our commitment to excellence in classical worship, our intentional spiritual formation and discipleship for all ages, our liberating theology that celebrates the great diversity of thought across the Reformed tradition, and our service to our community. From our clients—
“I had no idea how I was going to buy food this week… and then I saw your sign. Thank you!”
“Thank you so much for everything! I didn’t know how I was going to eat today. I’m really about to cry. I’ve never had to ask for help to eat, and it is humbling. Thank you!”
“I came to church today looking for a miracle. I have eight people in my family to feed and didn’t know what else to do. Thank you so much for your help!”
Experience
We offer a more traditional style of worship, with services structured around praise, reflection, growth, and celebration. We honor God’s love through choral music and hymns, taking the time each week to learn and acknowledge God’s place in our lives.
Connect
Aside from our Sunday worship, we offer numerous opportunities for our members to connect with other Christians and grow in their relationship with God, including youth groups, children’s activities, book studies, and outreach programs.
Serve
We seek to live as Christ did, serving the less fortunate and acting as God’s hands and feet in our community. We have a long-running history of ministry and generosity and provide ways for members to give back to our community.
